It is critical that map data is as accurate and up to date as possible for One Call Centers to help ensure a safe dig. Traditional, commercial landbase map data doesn’t always provide a complete view of a dig location, so it is no longer viable to use as the sole map source for excavations.
SAGE 811 GIS Plus helps One Call Centers increase safety and efficiency by providing the most accurate locations possible. GIS Plus enhances your current mapping by working with E911 and local counties to deliver additional layers (parcel map data, missing street data, flyovers, etc.) not available in commercial map data. By giving One Call Centers access to additional data points, it becomes easier for administrators to create tickets with accurate locations, increasing efficiency and ensuring safer digs.
